The visit to Kenya by KHOP

CHILD DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS OF KIGEZI HOME OF ORPHANS PASSING IN STAGNANT WATER IN UMOJA AREA IN KENYA DURING OUR VISIT TO FR JUMA PETER.
The staff members of KHOP left Kabale District on 9th May 2013 at 8:00am and arrived in Kenya on 10th May 2013 at 7:00am. They were able to reach safely and received by
Fr. Juma Peter Opiyo the Director Umoja street kids Project.

They visited the street kids and their homes to assess their living conditions.

Staff of KHOP of were able to interact with the street kids about the problems they face and what forces them to go and live on the streets.

Staff members of KHOP held two meetings with their counter parts of UMOJA street kids’ project to discuss the problems they face and how they may be resolved.

Both the projects discovered and observed that in order for the projects to be successful, there is a great need for the projects to work together in hand with each other.

They both resolved to have the projects work in partnership so as to easily achieve their goals and objectives.

The members resolved to have two projects under one umbrella with offices in Uganda and in Kenya.

The staff members left Nairobi Kenya on 12th May 2013 at 10:00am and reached Kabale Uganda on 13th May 2013 at 10:00am safely.
